“What is Infinite Banking?”

Infinite Banking uses a specially designed whole life insurance policy as your personal banking system. Instead of relying on commercial banks for loans, you build a growing pool of cash value that you can borrow against—for purchases, investments, or emergencies—while your money continues to grow inside the policy.

Question 1: Is Infinite Banking just whole life insurance?

No. Whole life insurance is the foundation, but Infinite Banking is about how you use the policy—structuring it for high cash value, using loans strategically, and managing repayments to maximize growth and liquidity.

Question 2: How does a policy loan work?

You borrow against your cash value (the insurance company’s money, secured by your policy). Your cash value keeps growing as if untouched. You repay the loan on your terms, with interest—just like a bank would charge, but now you keep the benefits inside your system.

Question 3: What if dividends change?

Dividends are not guaranteed and can fluctuate based on insurer performance. However, policies are designed with guaranteed growth regardless of dividends. Dividends add an additional layer of growth.

Question 4: What about taxes?

When designed properly (within IRS guidelines), policy loans and cash value growth are tax-advantaged. Exceeding contribution limits can create a Modified Endowment Contract (MEC), which changes the tax treatment. We design policies to avoid MEC status unless it aligns with your strategy.

Question 5: What if I can’t keep paying premiums?

Policies can be structured with flexibility. You can reduce premiums, use dividends, or pause contributions while keeping your policy in force.

Question 6: What’s the minimum I need to start?

Infinite Banking isn’t for everyone. As a rule of thumb, it works best if you can commit at least a few hundred dollars per month consistently. We’ll help you decide if it’s the right fit.

Question 7: Isn’t this too good to be true?
